You don’t want to wait ten minutes for the mirror to clear; you want it ready the second the water hits the floor. One thing to keep in mind: higher wattage means more heat. Not just for the glass, but for everything around it. If you’re pushing 500W or more, make sure your housing can handle the temperature so you don’t melt any plastic parts or scorch your wall. And for heaven’s sake, check your wiring. You don’t want your junction box overheating because the current draw is too high. Making it efficient Let’s be real: running a 300W lamp 24/7 is just throwing money away. The smartest way to do this is to wire the lamps to a timer or link them directly to your exhaust fan.
